They're looking good Soup! These feel a lot more 'adult' than your previous figures. I no longer feel like I'm going to get sent to prison for looking at them, so that's a pretty strong indicator you're moving in the right direction.

did some more, double per page to see how it affects my output. other than being surprised when I get to the end of a row and column to fins there's one more than expected, I actually drew about 10% faster. Not just the single page mind you I've tried it with other sketches as well.

did an okish adult figure. I'm getting real fast at adding the frilly edgings to stuff lol
I think the trouble is I always really want to draw super cute chibi so the temptation to do big heads is very strong. I'm getting the hang of what sort of proportions make the difference in the ages.

I like her looks. Also her torso. I think her thighs are little too big for her torso. Because she looks like a lean and tall person. I wish I could draw like that  :)

Nice work on the figures, I think you're definitely making progress! I think with proportions, it helps to do a full figure in a neutral pose where you can see the feet planted. Since proportions are best thought of as ratios rather than hard lengths or sizes that you always adhere I find forcing yourself to do a full figure helps a lot with finding your wings when it comes to different proportions for different characters. It also makes it a bit easier to critique as well because somethings that appear to be errors may not be once the full figure is in view!

@TinTin thanks! well I got this far with practice and plenty of help :)
@devola thanks. I do very often draw full figures but my compositions are often somewhat random XD. For when I don't draw the full figure I will try and keep in mind what it would have looked like to make sure the body and proportion balance is good for the parts I do draw.

The jaw looks a little wonky but as far as a whole composition goes, yeah, that does in fact look like an adult figure. The Smash Ultimate announcer saying "NICE WORK" plays in my head.

@MahluaandMilk thanks. I see the wonky jaw now, that's probably related to my slanting issue. It's hard to draw stuff symmetrically but hopefully I'll get the hang of it one day haha.

Sometimes a little asymmetry adds to the beauty of a work. That is, you don't have to strive for perfect symmetry in everything. It's okay to have some places be a little off. Looks more natural that way.
