I haven't touched KH yet because I'm eternally cursed to be out of the loop. My RP days familiarized me with the necessity to whip out the lemon pen. I'm not quite aloof about it yet, but hey it works. You do what works for you, and yeh you've gotta believe there's a market for it.

I know that there is certainly a market. The question is: is this the proper marketplace? We do have an 18+ section now, so there's no technical problems. Just social anxiety problems. Like, "crap, these guys know me. Is it going to be awkward?" Sure, I talk about sex...to a ridiculously high extent. But talking about it and actually writing it are quite different.

I've also had a few other fanfic ideas for a while, and I wonder if turning this into my alternative NSFW fanfic post site would catch some attention, since the only other site I use is FFN (I hate AO3 on sheer principle of being so posh and clique-y) which is nearly dead these days. There are a couple of Bleach ones I've had in my head for a while (including a rarepair/crackship that I continually thirst for) and I wouldn't object to taking requests...maybe for a small fee, but requests nonetheless.

I mean, there is a certain dividing line in my mind when it comes to sexual creations by my friends. Obviously part of it has to do with the nature of the relationship. If I saw you as say, a sibling figure, that'd definitely be a weird experience. But if you're say, "my friend into the weird stuff" then it's not such a crazy leap.

The other part of that little e equation is just the setting. I'm not so concerned with actual content, but there are definitely worlds and characters I consider more sacred than others. It's obviously a very personal metric there, and basically deals entirely with how personally affected I was by the original. For instance, it's whatever when it comes to Bleach. I mean, I loved me some Bleach, but it's popcorn entertainment. FMA on the other hand got me in my soul. Yah don't **** with FMA in my book.

So I hope that explains my position on the fanfic smut question. Although if there is one hard and fast rule: I do not want to read your self insert smut. We all know what it's about at that point, and it's not for general consumption.

Fair point, mate. Don't worry. Next to none of my fanfic ideas are completely self-insert smut. The only one that might be is that I kinda said I might do one about some of my crazy hoscapades from back in the fall.
